The current focus of her practice is commercial and tax dispute resolution and litigation. To this practice she brings her past experience in tax consulting for domestic and foreign companies, especially in cross border transactions; inbound and outbound foreign investments; the legal and contractual analysis of complex industry specific problems; and the assistance to clients in their relationship with tax authorities.  

Her prior experience also includes assisting clients in acquisition and foreign investment projects in Chile, to study the legal and financial information, prepare due diligence reports, determine the key tax aspects of the business that must be incorporated in the financial model, defining the strategy for structuring the investment and its financing, as well as the exit scenarios and strategy. 

Before joining Bofill Escobar, she worked at the Tax and Legal Services Department of pwc Chile, and in the tax group of Philippi, Yrarrázaval, Pulido & Brunner, where she strengthened her ability to work with other professionals and in multidisciplinary teams. 

A lawyer from the Universidad de Chile, where she graduated Cum Laude. Certificate in Economics and Finance for Lawyers from the School of Economics of Universidad de Chile. She graduated Cum Laude from the Adv. LLM in International Taxation of Leiden University in The Netherlands. 

She currently teaches General Tax Theory at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Santiago. She has also taught classes at the Tax MA Program of the same university (2013) and in the Law & Tax MA Program of the Law School of the Universidad de Chile (2011). 

Author of the Chile report on “New tendencies in tax treatment of cross-border interest of corporations” for the 2009 Brussels IFA Congress, published in Cahiers de Droit Fiscal International. 

Member of the Chilean Bar and IFA Chile.
