Angélica Martin

Angelica Martin focuses her practice on corporate matters, with particular emphasis on the resolution of corporate and commercial conflicts and securities litigation.

Ms. Martin has extensive experience in contractual matters, mergers and acquisitions, financings and general advice to domestic and foreign companies. She also specializes in regulatory compliance, including the design and implementation of models to prevent the criminal liability of legal entities.

Before joining Bofill Escobar Abogados, she was a partner at Corbalán Martin Abogados, and formerly an associate at Bofill Mir & Alvarez Jana and at Philippi, Yrarrázaval, Pulido & Brunner. She also worked as legal manager at BH Compliance and as legal assistant to Judges at the Supreme Court of Justice.

Ms. Martin received her law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, with two votes of distinction. She also holds a Master of Comparative Law, summa cum laude, from The University of Adelaide, Australia and University of Mannheim, Germany, receiving the Landesstiftung Baden-Württemberg scholarship and the Perry Prize, awarded to the most meritorious student of the promotion.

Angélica Martin is a member of the Bar Association of Chile.
