Vanessa Facuse has concentrated her professional practice in competition law, regulated markets, administrative and constitutional law. She has participated in the strategic design and litigation of the most relevant cases in the area of free competition in our country.
Between the years 2013 and 2016 was Chief of the Division of Litigation of the National Economic Prosecutor and formerly as Sub-Chief of Litigation in the same institution (2010-2013). She also served as Coordinator of Regulated Markets of the National Economic Prosecutor (2009-2013).
Vanessa Facuse had an outstanding professional participation in the Regulatory Area of the Undersecretary of Telecommunications and in the Area of Authorizations as well as in charge of the Contracting Area of the same service (2004-2008).
In the academic field, she is Professor of the Regulation and Competition Course, Universidad Diego Portales MBA (2014-2017).
She has made numerous specializations in her field of interest, including Antitrust Damages Actions, Universidad de Chile (2016); Diploma in Economic Sanction Law, Universidad de Los Andes (2015); Ibero-American School of Competition, imparted by the Spain National Competition Commission (2009); and Diploma in Administrative Law: The Regulatory State: Law, Economy and Free Competition, University of Chile (2005).
She is coauthor of Chapter 12: Exchanges of Information in Competition Law: The Chilean (Incipient) Experience, Competition Law and Policy in Latin America: Recent Developments, Burnier da Silveira (2017); and author of Information on Sale of Medicines. Sensitive Data? Article included in "Reflections on the Use and Abuse of Personal Data in Chile", 2011.
She is Counselor of the Chilean Institute of Law and Technologies.
