Ms. Balló concentrates her practice in corporate, commercial and tax dispute resolution and litigation.

To this practice she brings all her professional expertise in tax legal consulting for national and international issues.

Her professional experience includes advising on negotiation of contracts and agreements, tax compliance, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate reorganization structures, as well as consulting for local and foreign companies, particularly in cross-border business, foreign investment to and from Chile; double taxation, International funding structuring process, advise on transfer pricing issues and support on administrative and judicial tax litigation.

Before joining Bofill Escobar, Alejandra Balló worked at the Tax and Legal Services Department of EY Chile, and at the Tax Group of Barros & Errázuriz and Carey & Cia. She also worked as in-house counsel at the Chilean companies Celulosa Arauco and Ripley.

She received her law degree (J.D. equivalent) from the Universidad de Chiles and holds a Master (c) degree in Management and Tax Planning at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile.

Ms. Balló is a member of the Chilean Bar Association.
